How mobile knife sharpening works, what we can and can't sharpen, payment, and our service area.
- Do I need to be home?
- No. Check "I won't be home — just sharpen and go" when you book, tell us where the knives will be (a cooler on the porch works great), and pick how to pay: keep a card on file that's charged only after your knives are sharp, or leave cash with the knives. We sharpen and leave everything where we found it.
- How does payment work?
- You pay after service — card, cash, or tap. Nothing is charged when you book. For unattended visits, keep a card on file (charged only after the work is done) or leave cash with the knives.
- How long does it take?
- Most visits take about 45 minutes. Bigger batches run about an hour to two hours — the booking form quotes your time before you confirm.
- What can't you sharpen?
- We do not sharpen hair or grooming shears. Not sure about an item? Text a photo to 734-800-9772 and we'll tell you straight.
- What's your service area?
- Salt Lake County — Murray, Sandy, Millcreek, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights, Midvale, West Jordan, Draper, SLC and nearby. Close-in visits travel free; a longer drive adds a $10–$20 travel fee, shown before you book. Outside the zone? Text or call 734-800-9772 and we'll work something out.
- What if I'm not happy?
- If it's not the sharpest knife in your kitchen, you don't pay. Tell us on the spot or text us after — we'll make it right or you keep your money.
- What's the cancellation policy?
- Free rescheduling and cancellation up to 12 hours before your appointment — just text or call 734-800-9772. Inside 12 hours, the visit is billed.
- Do you do restaurants?
- Yes. Same per-item prices, same booking flow — check "This is for a restaurant or business" when you book. Need a standing schedule? Text us.
- Do you sharpen mower blades?
- Yes — just have the blade off the mower before we arrive. We sharpen the blade; we don't remove or reinstall it.
- Do you do events?
- Yes — HOAs, block parties, garden clubs, and farmers markets, with a $200 minimum. Use the event inquiry form on the homepage and we'll text you within one business day.
